The project began with a clear vision from our clients: transform a traditional townhouse into a modern, comfortable sanctuary that reflects their urban lifestyle while preserving the character of its Chelsea location. The brief emphasized open, light-filled spaces with a strong design identity rooted in industrial chic aesthetics.

The primary requirement was to create a functional home for a young family that balances elegance with practicality. Our clients wanted an interior that felt contemporary, stylish, and easy to maintain—without losing the townhouse’s historic charm.

To achieve this, Manor restructured the layout to improve flow between living, dining, and kitchen areas, ensuring seamless family interaction. We introduced steel-framed partitions to allow natural light to flood the interiors while defining zones, and complemented the architecture with exposed brick, reclaimed wood flooring, and bespoke cabinetry. Furniture and décor were carefully curated to enhance comfort while reinforcing the industrial chic narrative.
